A True Saint of New Orleans
Kerry Anthony Parker was born on October 3, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana, grew up in the desire housing projects, attended and graduated from George Washington high school and went on to play college football at Grambling State University under great coach Eddie Robinson. From college he went onto being a football player in the CFL for seven years, played defensive back for the British Columbia Lions, Toronto Argonauts, and Kansas City Chiefs from 1980-1987.In 1987 he played for the Buffalo Bills, Parker also played part of the two seasons in the National Football League. Parker once owned an upscale restaurant in New Orleans Warehouse district where he employed and feed the homeless. He served as a private chef to several upscale politicians and celebrities. He also started AAU/USA youth track team where he provided out of pocking funding for these youth. Now a days the 15 year old ex NFL/CFL player spends his time as a devoted Christian working to spread the word of the Lord, a veteran of health and wellness, continuing to spending his own money and time feeding the homeless, and funding recreational projects in New Orleans. Every so gracious and humble Mr. Parker has even taking the steps to prepare holistic meals to his local New Orleans food chain.
